Well, I have completed my move, successfully defended my thesis, and am ready to start school to get my Ph.D. in two weeks.

My apartment is comfy and cozy now, completely unpacked and decorated... with only a few minor things missing that need to be added once I can afford them (boo on moving costs and lots of plane tickets!), one of which is a cat. I want a kitty. *cries*

For those of you even remotely interested, I've settled into a place about a twenty minute bus ride north of UW... but alas, I have not found a coffee shop within walking distance. There's a Starbuck's up the street, I guess.

Now that things have settled down and I have something almost resembling free time (at least for the next week or so), I need to work on updating my gallery with some of the projects I've been working on. *nod* Perhaps I will do that tomorrow.
